It's been a weird week

Then we have new allegations against Larry I am not and never was gay Craig.

The head of the Red Cross [A REPUG] lost his job for having an adulterous affair with a female co-worker - [that's probably why it wasn't big news...]

Virginia is making those who wish to vote in the repug primary sign an oath that will vote repug in the general election.

Iraq is wallowing in corruption.

The shrub is cutting back funding for first responders and ports - but probably not the college football stadiums and mid west who-knows-what that get such money.

Next he'll start scaring us again with terra threats - cuz his hallyburton cronies need the money - not the citizens!

Insanity in D.C.

Cheney, in an interview with Rush Limbaugh, said:

...remember Abu Musab al Zarqawi, a Jordanian terrorist, al Qaeda affiliate; ran a training camp in Afghanistan for al Qaeda, then migrated -- after we went into Afghanistan and shut him down there, he went to Baghdad, took up residence there before we ever launched into Iraq; organized the al Qaeda operations inside Iraq before we even arrived on the scene, and then, of course, led the charge for Iraq until we killed him last June.... This is al Qaeda operating in Iraq. And as I say, they were present before we invaded Iraq.

How many lies does it take before we finally see that shrub and this guy are insane....

There are far less dangerous people held at St. E's because they are a danger to self and others [under D.C. laws.]

I think these two should be committed...they are a danger to the entire world.

One last question I thought this morning - is - if the two "leaders" are so our of touch with reality - who is the more sane person running the government... or is it an administration many mad men and women ?

shrubs and shrubs

Well shrub #1 is at the microphone and shrub #2 is stalking in from the garden.....but that's not creepy enough - you have to hear what shrub # 1 saying..

1- seems he forgot that Congress did pass legislation to fund our children [the troops]...it's he who wants to veto that legislation

2- seems he also forgot that many of our children are now stuck in Iraq way past their go home dates - well because he wants an escalation

3- he also forgot that many of our children are being sent back sooner than they are supposed to return - AND still without the armor and other protection that is needed

4- he also forgot that the citizens of the USA voted in this current Congress because they also find the situation unacceptable.. but we are not forgetting that this entire mess rests squarely on the shrub's shoulder and he has to someohe get his brain around the fact that the citizens of the USA do not agree with him or his policies...and the DO agree with with what COngress is proposing...

And if this bill is vetoed - it is the shrub who will be failing to fund our children - not Congress and not the SA citizens.

[for those who have not read some of my former posts - I use the term our children as I hate the word troop - troop is a way of distancing yourself from the fact that every military person has a mother and father. They are OUR children over there - even if they are not biologically yours....

So shrub is "not happy"

Gee I feel so sorry for the pretender to the throne- he's not happy - why? Because mistakes were made? or because it was interfering with his cheerleader trip to South America? or because the WH attorney was being asked questions by the press and by Congress?

I mean how dare the citizens demand answers and accountability. Kings do not take well to being challenged - they are accountable to no one and can pout when the press points out "mistakes."

Let's see - mistakes were also made in these locales:

Florida and Ohio elections
Iraq
New Orleans
Afghanistan
Korea
Iran
Israel
Syria

Actually it might be easier to list places and areas where no mistakes were made:

A thought on "success"

Shrub keeps talking about "success" in Iraq and we ask him to define victory. It finally dawned on me that he can't define any type of victory - this is a person who has FAILED at everything he has ever done....

Mom and dad and their friends in high places and high finances have bailed him out all all his previous fiascoes. Daddy and daddy's buddies tried to help bail him out of the Iraq fiasco [occupation] but unfortunately for the world, shrub has now decided to try to get out of his messes on his own....ouch - he has zero idea on how to make a worthwhile decision.

The man is a failure by any definition of the word....and the world continues to suffer....

tonight tonight...

I prefer the West Side Story version - but instead tonight it's the shrub giving us another yawner.

My friends ask why I will watch...I say it's the psychologist in me - I want to see him squirm with Pelosi sitting right there and an audience there and all over the world who does not like him....mr 38% and falling.....besides it's the 1st I'll watch from shrub...seems like a good time to do so...

I never liked SOTU speeches as they are pure rhetoric. Can't recall one in the past that revved me up - but I admit that since Nixon, I have not liked watching repugs on TV...unless they are waving bye-bye after the resign...now that's something I'd watch even if it were after my bedtime : o )

But what I really am looking forward to is the speech by Jim Webb. Now there's a guy who can and does stand up to shrub any day of the week....He's clear, concise and actually speaks in whole sentences....a great comparison to the shrub - maybe even the 38%ers will watch and see what the 62% see is wrong wrong wrong.....
