Make An Impact

WHAT IS THE IMPACT?
Join the Impact now!Last Tuesday night was a bitter-sweet celebration. We came together to witness the first black man who will become our president, yet watched in sadness as Florida, Arizona, Arkansas, and California all voted down equal rights for all citizens.

This is not a four-state issue. This is an issue of equality across America. Stand up and make your voice heard! Visit the main www.jointheimpact.com to learn more, or read our mission statement.

If your city/town/space is not listed - form your own protest and post it on the site!

Here is the list of known events: hhttp://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/

Watch Rachel explain why Joe must GO!

I am so so glad we have Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann.

Another in the long list of "who coulda known?"

Gee - the bailout person, Paulson, who told us the world would fall apart if he did not get his way and get billions to purchase "troubled assets" from banks.

Well golly gee - he's changed his mind....[in my weird head he's figuring a way to get   Haliburton involved]

That's a quick turn-around for something that was so necessary he and shrub were crying chicken little the sky is falling!

The sky did not fall and it was never going to...Paulson just wanted the money to do with as he wished - and now he wishes something different..and maybe next week he'll figure out another way to spend our money on his best buds.

Can January 20th please come tomorrow!

Public Interest Law

I went to the DC School of Law when it was the re-birth of Antioch - 1988-1991.  It's different and better than when I was there - and, of course, it also costs more :-).  You can learn more about the school at this upcoming open house.
