Familiar Words?

"There's obviously a lot more work to be done,'' he said. "There's still work to be done here in [blank]... But times are changing for the better, and people's lives are improving, and there is hope. ''

Guess who said this and where?

No it wasn't about Iraq..but it might have been - it was the cheerleader-in-chief speaking in Mississippi - DUH

His speech writers have an easy job - just have him memorize a few sentences - and no matter what he's talking about - he can say the same words.-

Just fill in the blank with the place or condition and he's good to go...still in his bubble world of non-reality.

Stop the Iran war

I like Wes Clark and supported him in 2004. He still has the best solutions as far as I am concerned.

Bad food; bad government

I have posted on my blog grow older better about being careful of what we put in on on our bodies. Cosmetics, skin care products and food are toxic.

So after yesterday's post about more bad food, today's news let me know why we are having bad food - it's because we have a bad government who seems not to care it's citizens.

This is what we have checking the safety of our food supply:

Between 2003 and 2006, FDA food safety inspections dropped 47 percent.

There are 12 percent fewer FDA employees in field offices who concentrate on food issues.

Safety tests for U.S.-produced food have dropped nearly 75 percent, from 9,748 in 2003 to 2,455 last year, according to the agency's own statistics.

Back to my thoughts about do "they" really want most of the USA citizens to die? This comes after a chat with my son about the Iraq mess. "They" seem to want our children to die in Iraq because "they" certainly do not want to take care of returning vets.
And to boot - "they" send our children off to fight without appropriate training or armor - so again I ask - do "they" want USA citizens dead?

My cyncial answr is Yes...and so we must rid OUR government of "them."

I have been one who felt we needed to tread carefully toward impeachment - but over the last few weeks I changed my mind...

It needs to be put forth as fast as the process will allow - we have two people in office who are moving full speed toward a new war, more deaths of our children in Iraq, more Iraqi children dying, and they do it all with that bully chant "nah nah - you can't stop me!"

These two took oaths to protect the Constitution and they are trampling on that document. They outed a covert CIA operative, sent our tax dollars to Al Queda and other insurgents, and telling other countries what they can and can not do.....
