more lead? more toys? more china?

Stay tuned - if the rumors are true, more toys with lead in the paint and made in China - are being recalled tomorrow by Mattel.
I'll post info as soon as I know of the recall.

So what's new in your corner of the recall world?

I believe it's Barbie this time. American consumers need to make an effort to buy toys made here at home. Visit www.toysmadeinamerica.com for a LONG list of some GREAT American toy companies who produce their toys right here in the USA -- large companies and small alike. It's time to boycott American corporations who choose to outsource American jobs, enjoy record profits, and expect all of us to sit back and let them get away with it. (And the argument that it's "cheaper" to buy these toys is just not true -- Barbie is not low cost -- it's just that these corporations make larger profits by outsourcing; they certainly don't pass the savings on to us!)
