Where is Condi?

I had just been thinking that we have not heard very much from or about Condi - when there she was i- n a photo op with her husband - oops the shrub....making a secret trip to Iraq - you know the place that's so safe lawmakers who go to Baghdad do not leave the Green zone? And so safe the shrub avoids Baghdad...

What has she been doing of late? Has she been pushed aside by someone? for an admin that loves and seeks out all manner of photo ops - she is strangely silent lately.

Is she conducting top secret diplomacy somewhere around the globe? or is she busy getting ready to lie to use again [about Iran this time?]

Paris in jail v. military in Iraq

I am not one who follows celebrity nonsense but sometimes it is unavoidable as it shouts at you from most news sites. Therefore I had heard about Paris Hilton being released from jail after 3 days [apparently they count showing up at nearly midnight as day 1] because she did not like the food and could not sleep.

Poor baby!

She got the same treatment as all others in jail. Jail food and jail conditions and she could not stand it and it made her cry..

Poor baby.

Maybe she ought to try following the law?

Anyway - my thoughts were that it's okay to release her on these conditions and these only:

All military in Iraq and Afghanistan will be allowed to return home and not have to go back if they do not like the food they are served

The same can be said on behalf of all the others who are incarcerated....The rich should not get special treatment unless ALL get that same special treatment but especially the military as they ave not broken any law and yet are subjected to worse conditions that Paris Hilton's jail cell conditions.
