Why Bloggers Rock!

Up in Washington, Darcy Burner is running against an incumbent R - [ I won't give him any name recognition here.]

The local "news" paper came out screaming that Darcy lied about her Harvard degree.  She didn't [Harvard has oddities no other college has] and this was most likely a faux noise/R campaign to discredit her.


But - as I've said before - I'm a psychologist and when R's start saying "someone did that" - it usually means they are projecting their own whatever onto someone else.


Well in this case - the R DOES NOT have the degree he said he had - and he quickly re-did his congressional page [oops]


So the R was caught in his own projection!!!

I don't know Darcy and I don't live in her district - but I have come to really really like the stands she has taken and will continue to take when she is elected to Congress.

If you have not yet heard - her house burned in a fire yesterday and everything was lost - but as she said it's just "stuff."

But - and it's a big but - she is running to be the representative from her district and she has more on her mind right now then fundraising - so bloggers are doing that for her.

Darcy Burner is correct!

We don't just need Democrats in Congress - we need BETTER democrats.

You know the kind we need - the ones who actually believe the oath they take when they are sworn in. The oath where they say:

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The ones we need will understand that persons like mr worst-in-history IS a domestic enemy.
