We get ads - and we will keep getting ads as we go into the Fall elections season. This one is from MoveOn and highlights JohnMcSameMcBushIII and Dole [R-NC]
47 is closer to 50 than was 46 - so maybe JohnMcSameMcBushIII, who turns 72 soon will stop yammering about Obama's lack of experience.
Obama was an elected Illinoise state senator for 7 year and has been in the US Senate for 4 years! And that's only his elected positions! He has held other jobs too ...he was/is not a kept man!
What's JohnMcSameMcBushIII's experience? Being one of the DC insiders since 1982; 4 years in the House and the rest as Senator....
I'm not sure being a politician with a rich wife, having what? 8 houses, a private jet, and a history of adultery is the kind of experience that counts for anything "real."
JohnMcSameMcBushIII keeps Obama's name out there - and it's not a bad ad - as ads go. And I know there are those out there who think it's racist, anti Christian, and all other interpretations....but then I have a weird take on ads - even my son says so :-)
Besides - something all lawyers and most people with common sense know - is to never ask a question to which you don't already know the answer...and many who see this ad - KNOW the answer...
So when JohnMcSameMcBushIII says "but is he ready to lead?" we can all say very loudly:
YES HE CAN!!!!!!
As a psychologist I know the value of the self fulfilling prophecy. JohnMcSameMcBushIII wants everyone to vote for Obama and all his ads are telling us why - Obama is smart, Obama is the one, Obama is popular, etc. JohnMcSameMcBushIII does not want to be president...and he's not sure why he is running....
And wouldn't you rather have an engaging speaker than one who does this:
So don't disappoint JohnMcSameMcBushIII - vote for Obama - even if you are an R... Then you'll really feel the excitement!
JohnMcSameMcBushIII is so pissed that the press loves Obama he is pouting about this on his site and to the world via any media he can get t o listen.
But what can we say about the alleged "news" when they edit a JohnMcSameMcBushIII gaffe and call it "news."
Can we ask for the firing of Couric? This is certainly more crucial than Rather's news about the shrub - for which he did get fired! [And remember that hinged on the validity of a piece of paper - no ever said the premise was wrong!]
