It's not who the press "loves"....

it's who the press protects!

JohnMcSameMcBushIII is so pissed that the press loves Obama he is pouting about this on his site and to the world via any media he can get t o listen.

But what can we say about the alleged "news" when they edit a JohnMcSameMcBushIII gaffe and call it "news."

Can we ask for the firing of Couric? This is certainly more crucial than Rather's news about the shrub - for which he did get fired!
[And remember that hinged on the validity of a piece of paper - no ever said the premise was wrong!]

More news you won't get on TV

Good ole McSame
Mr. McCain, who with his wife, Cindy, has an adopted daughter, said flatly that he opposed allowing gay couples to adopt. “I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no, I don’t believe in gay adoption,” he said.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/13/us/politics/13mccain.html?pagewanted=print
Let's see - "both parents are important" - so important in fact that he ditched his first wife and their kids to have an affair with an heiress - got a marriage license to wed that heiress while he was still married to wife #1...and that heiress admits he was not always her for the family and/or her.

From the LA Times
In his 2002 memoir, "Worth the Fighting For," McCain wrote that he had separated from Carol before he began dating Hensley.

"I spent as much time with Cindy in Washington and Arizona as our jobs would allow," McCain wrote. "I was separated from Carol, but our divorce would not become final until February of 1980."

An examination of court documents tells a different story. McCain did not sue his wife for divorce until Feb. 19, 1980, and he wrote in his court petition that he and his wife had "cohabited" until Jan. 7 of that year -- or for the first nine months of his relationship with Hensley.

Although McCain suggested in his autobiography that months passed between his divorce and remarriage, the divorce was granted April 2, 1980, and he wed Hensley in a private ceremony five weeks later. McCain obtained an Arizona marriage license on March 6, 1980, while still legally married to his first wife.

Again I ask - does the still not recognize that facts stay facts - especially in court documents? or maybe he is counting on the pure laziness of most of the media to slip on by...he has a good thing going with the media as they fail to ask the most basic questions or do the most basic investigating.

I prefer a leader who understands modern technology

Poor John McSame McBush etc...you know the guy running for Bush's 3rd term who can't understand the Internet, YouTube or email or how ideas get passed around a lot more quickly than his pony express mind....

It's not his age - it's his tenacity in sticking to the last century - the one he likes so much. It's why the video below is so good and why McSame still has no idea that in today's technological world, one can find his "old" and "new" statements that show him to be not only stupid about technology...but a liar!

Huh? Who is distorted - methinks it's McCain

This is a video clip - no one has said it was edited...yet McCain, McSame, McBush says this comment was distorted..

Watch - and listen - we all hear him say it's not too important when the troops leave Iraq!

How is this a distortion?

John McCain's attitude toward women?

Hint - he does not like, respect or care about them.....

McSame - the family man? Hah!

Interesting article about McSame and the wife he dumped so he could marry a woman whose rich daddy could help him buy his way into politics....
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1024927/The-wife-John-McCain-callously-left-behind.html

Be sure to read thru and see the comments such as this...

Ted Sampley, who fought with US Special Forces in Vietnam and is now a leading campaigner for veterans’ rights, said: ‘I have been following John McCain’s career for nearly 20 years. I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me tell you what it is – deceit.

And the one by Ross Perot - who calls McCain an opportunist..

fun reading.......

More disgusting than an email from McSame

Joe Turncoat Lieberman sent this today!

When the dems take over - I hope they kick him out of his committee chair spot and the dem caucus on his ass - he is not bipartisan - he's in all this for one reason only - for Joe

Getting these emails is a great way to find out what is going on - I hope Obama and Harry Reid see this as well!

To: Fellow McCain Supporters

From: Senator Joe Lieberman [emphasis mine]

Date: June 5th, 2008

Today, I asked Senator McCain if I could create and chair a new grassroots organization, "Citizens for McCain."

Citizens for McCain is an organization within the McCain campaign for people who put country before political party and support the candidate for President who has a proven record of bipartisanship.

As you know, I caucus with the Democrats as a United States Senator and was the Democrat Party's nominee for Vice-President of the United States against President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

But first and foremost, I am an American. I have an obligation to do what I think is best for our nation regardless of political party. My love for this country and strong belief in John McCain's character, judgment, and willingness to work with leaders of both parties has convinced me to support him for President.

I have worked with John McCain for many years in the U.S. Senate and know from experience that he can unite Democrats, Republicans and Independents like no one else in this country. He did it in the United States Senate and he can do it as President of the United States.

But we need help from McCain supporters such as you to reach out to Americans who are not currently involved in the campaign. Will you help us by recruiting your friends, family, and co-workers who may not consider themselves members of the Republican Party and ask them to join the Citizens for McCain organization?

I am confident we will find many Democrats and Independents who, like John McCain and me, put country before political party and will support a leader with a real record of bipartisanship.

Time and time again John McCain has put his country first. He refused early release when he was held captive in Vietnam. He continued to put his country first as a national leader in the U.S. Senate. He put country before party when he fought to pass campaign finance reform, sought a bi-partisan solution to the immigration problem, and consistently supported pro-environment policies. His courage to stand up to the failed Iraq war plan of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and lead the fight for a new strategy in Iraq will go down in history, and it saved American lives. These were not always the easy things to do. In fact, they were usually very difficult, and often threatened his political career. But John McCain did what was right.

He said it best in his speech in New Orleans on Tuesday night:

"(The American people) know I have a long record of bipartisan problem solving. They've seen me put our country before any President -- before any party -- before any special interest -- before my own interest. They might think me an imperfect servant of our country, which I surely am. But I am her servant first, last and always."

The phones at the campaign headquarters have been ringing with disaffected Democrats calling to say they believe Senator McCain has the experience, judgment, and bipartisanship necessary to lead our country in these difficult times. Many of these supporters are former supporters of Senator Clinton.

Senator McCain has had a very good working relationship with Senator Clinton and will continue to do so in the future. In the same New Orleans speech he said:

"Senator Clinton has earned great respect for her tenacity and courage. The media often overlooked how compassionately she spoke to the concerns and dreams of millions of Americans, and she deserves a lot more appreciation than she sometimes received. As the father of three daughters, I owe her a debt for inspiring millions of women to believe there is no opportunity in this great country beyond their reach. I am proud to call her my friend."

I am proud to call John McCain my friend and ask you to help our friend become the next President of the United States.

Please forward this email to your lists today and ask your friends, family, and coworkers who do not consider themselves Republicans to join me in filling out the Citizens for McCain form today.

Thank you for your willingness to help me expand this new organization. Together, we will make history.

And the gimme money email

I admit it - I am on Obama's, Clinton's, and McCain's email lists. It's the easiest way to see what they are saying to those they think are "devoted" followers : - 0

Just got one from Obama - it's a nice email with one link saying donate. It was mostly a chatty letter about what is going on and reminding me to watch his speech tonight - which I will do.

None from Clinton today but yesterday hers had several appeals for money - with suggested amounts.

Here is McSames - hot off my email account with 4 links to remind me that I might want to give him a lot of money - fat chance of that!

Friends,

Tonight, we can say with confidence the primary season is over, and the general election campaign has begun.

Each American faces a decision this election and the choice between my candidacy and Senator Obama's could not be more clear. This is a change election. But the choice is between the right change and the wrong change; between going forward and going backward.

The right change recognizes that many of the policies and institutions of our government have failed. The right kind of change will initiate widespread and innovative reforms in almost every area of government policy from energy to taxes to government spending and the military.

The right change will stop impeding Americans from doing what they have always done, overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities. Today, I humbly ask you to join my campaign for the right change, as we move forward together as a nation. Please follow this link to make your generous campaign contribution right away.

The wrong change looks not to the future, but to the past for solutions that have failed us before and will surely fail us again. Like others before him, my opponent seems to think government is the answer to every problem. That's not change we can believe in.

My friends, we're not a country that would rather go back than forward. We're the world's leader, and leaders don't hide from history. They make history. If we're going to lead, we must reform a government that has lost its ability to help us do so.

You can take direct action today by making a donation of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or any amount up to the legal limit of $2,300. Your generous support will enable me to take my message of the right change and reform directly to the American people.

I don't seek the presidency on the presumption I'm blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save my country in its hour of need. I seek the office with the humility of a man who cannot forget my country saved me. I assure you that if I'm elected president, the era of reform and problem solving will begin. From my first day in office, I'll work tirelessly to make America safe, prosperous and proud. And that, my friends, is the kind of change we need.

Sincerely,

John McCain

P.S. We need change in this country, but we need the right change. I am prepared to lead this country in the right direction, but I will need your help to get elected. Follow this link to make a donation of any amount up to the legal limit of $2,300. Your generous support will make all the difference in determining the type of change our next president brings to this nation. Thank you.

Poor John McSame

Tonight he's in Kenner, Louisiana raising money and preaching to the choir.....Kenner is near the airport and McSame seems to like raising money near airports..

Quick in, quick out and usually easily controlled so he won't have to deal with protesters.

Also - Kenner is NOT New Orleans - perhaps because he does not want to remind people what he was doing when Katrina hit and people died.

But some of us do remember what McSame was doing and we'll keep reminding people. John McSame is Bush's 3rd term -so poor John McSame - You can't run away from your past and pretend.....

Money honey!

The mother of a friend had donated money to the Republican Party - and after she went to live with my friend, she then got email from them at my friend's address. The friend, a Democrat, never told the Repugs that the mother had died [1991] because she so enjoys the emails and loves sending them on to me : - )

Here is the recent one from McSame with the subject line of: Act Now to Stop a Democrat Takeover
Dear Amy ,

Our Party needs to pull together, and we need to do it now.

Never in memory have the Democrats, liberal special interests groups, labor unions and unregulated "527" soft-money groups come together with so much money and so much determination toward one purpose: Defeating Republicans.

They want the White House. They want Congress. They want total control of government. And with record-breaking fundraising and voter turnout in Democrat primaries and caucuses nationwide, the challenge to our Party is greater than at any time in modern history.

I truly believe the only way we can stop the Democrats is if dedicated Republicans, like you, step forward immediately and support the Republican National Committee's VICTORY 2008 project -- a grassroots effort that is the backbone of our entire Republican Party.

As our Party's presumptive nominee for President and as a fellow Republican, I am asking you personally to help the RNC's critical VICTORY 2008 campaign to strengthen our Party, to spread our conservative message, and to rally more Americans behind our Republican candidates.

Please help me kick-off the RNC's VICTORY 2008 project by clicking here to make a generous online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 or as much as you can afford to support our campaign efforts.

Amy , let me tell you why your help is so urgent.

The aggressive campaign being played out for the Democrat nomination is showing us one very crucial fact: The Democrats and their liberal allies are building the most massive political fundraising machine ever seen.

They are growing their mailing lists and phone banks, perfecting their technologies, developing their money-raising techniques -- from telephones to text-messaging to mail to the Internet to knocking on doors. And it is working.

With all the hype and media attention focused on their campaigns -- Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have managed to raise a staggering $425 million between them. Together they raised more than $60 million in the month of March alone. This is an unheard of amount of money in the history of American elections -- it's approaching a half a billion dollars.

The upcoming elections could be the most important in decades -- and have far-reaching implications for America's future security, growth, and prosperity.

If we fail to elect conservative Republican leadership in Washington, D.C. and all across the country, we face a return to the Democrats' tried-and-failed liberal policies that embrace higher taxes, more government spending, socialized medicine, and surrender in Iraq.

These are not the solutions to our country's greatest challenges.

That is why we are calling on our Party's very best -- individuals like you -- and getting them involved at the highest level in the RNC's victory-building campaign.

Amy , as someone who has done so much in the past for our Party, may we continue to count on your support at this very important time?

Your secure online gift of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 will be used for promoting our Republican agenda, identifying Republican and Republican-leaning voters, conducting voter education and Absentee Ballot programs as well as funding our vital voter registration program, with the goal of registering 2 million new Republican voters before Election Day.

With your help, the RNC will fight to make sure we have a Republican seated in the White House and strong Republicans in Congress and offices all across the nation who will push forward our conservative vision for America that includes lowering our taxes, reducing wasteful government spending, and ensuring victory in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We need you with us. I hope to hear from you soon and I look forward to working with you throughout this campaign.

Sincerely,

John McCain

P.S. The Democrats are assembling massive rallies, breaking records at the polls, and raising unprecedented campaign funds for their candidates. Every vote, every dollar makes a difference in this election. Amy , I'm counting on you, as a loyal Republican Party supporter, to answer this challenge and join the RNC's VICTORY 2008 by making a secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25. Thank you.

McSame's not a liar - he just looks and acts like one

Aw shucks... I'm not an elitist like Obama....but an I help it if my gorgeous rich wife has her own jet and she lets me use it? [For the cost of a first class ticket so I am not breaking the law?]

Why does that make me not a maverick? Mavericks can borrow their wives corporate jets without it affecting their maverickness...

See only Obama is an elitist because he used the word "bitter." I'm not bitter... I know what it's like to fly around the country on a corporate jet - it makes one of the boys so I understand how they feel...I am empathetic with the boys and gals who own their own corporate jets...so don't call me an elitist.

Then I feed the media so they like me too and they don't yell elitist or liar when I use my wife's corporate jet when I said I would not do this...

And did I tell you I only paid what first class fares would cost...see that makes me a person who saves money - just like them folks who are losing their homes and jobs and have to save money.....

I'm John McSame and I want you to give me bush's 3rd term- cause damn it - I want it and I'll do anything to get it...

McSame today and when Katrina hit

McSame today in New Orleans.....

"Never again will there be a mismanaged natural disaster," he said, later assuring the crowd that "it will never happen again in this country; you have my commitment and my promise."

What was McSame doing while people were dying after Katrina hit ? [Let them eat cake?]

NEVER forget - McSame loves shrub....

Who is an elitist?

This man is so far out-of-it he has no idea what is going on with "real" Americans.

McSame's age

Was just chatting with my son who came up with some good points about McSame's age.

[Disclaimer - Since McSame is not that much older than I am - I get a little personally "whatever" about the age issue...but I think in lots of ways I am many years "younger" than McSame... ]

My son pointed out that we can argue that the presidency takes a lot of energy out of it's office holders. Look at the shrub who takes endless vacations, works out and gets a full night's sleep no matter what world crisis is going on - and even he looks like shit after 2 terms.

But back to McSame and the MLK holiday - McSame is so so old and of a different era that it took him decades to see his "error" about MLK... we can not afford an old man in power who takes decades to admit to an error...we already have seen what "I don't make mistakes shrub" has done to the country. McSame would be worse and he is a cranky old man.

So NO OLD MEN for president!

Funny about McSame aka more war fewer jobs McCain

This is from Brave New Films - they are doing a great job : - )

Go HERE to post the questions McSame should be asked tomorrow
